At present, Apple itself reserves the right to be the sole repair option for iPod's and the iPhone. Apple will not supply parts to Century 23 for either the iPod or the iPhone. Century 23 can instruct on reset and reload procedures for iPod's. iPhone questions are best handled by Apple directly. Third party internet repair options have been hit and mostly miss with some never seeing their money or iPod again.
Century 23 recommends AppleCare for your iPod and iPhone to insure reliable repairs during the covered warranty period. Out of warranty repairs for these two products other then a simple reset or software reload is probably best handled by the purchase of a new iPod or iPhone, sorry to say.
